The 2nd IMB Innovation Award

Under the patronage of The European Commission,

represented by the Director of the "Industrie Research" 

Directorate of the Directorate-General for Research,

Herbert von Bose IMB 2009 as a leading platform for innovation in the flexible materials processing sector, will  be putting the spotlight on outstanding marketable innovations for the processing of flexible materials for the second time.

In addition to one Award for IMB exhibitors and one for research institutes, 2009 will mark the debut of the “Students & Young Professionals Award" category.

The Award will be presented  in 3 categories:
 

Universities, colleges, public or private institutes that conduct research and development activities related to the processing of flexible materials.
1st prize:  €7,000 and a trophy
2nd prize: € 2,000
3rd prize: € 1,000

Exhibitors at IMB 2009.
1st prize: a trophy.

Students and/or young professionals (max. three years of professional experience).
1st prize:  € 3,000 and a trophy
2nd prize: € 2,000
3rd  prize: € 1,000.

Selecting the winners will be a five person panel made up of international trade journalists and sector representatives from globally operating companies.

The members of the panel will be assisted by the conceptual sponsor of IMB, the VDMA’s German Garment and Leather Technology Association, and by Koelnmesse GmbH.
